Nigerian media personality and former OAP Toke Makinwa, who is still basking in the euphoria of being a soon-to-be mum, is rejoicing over how God shamed her enemies.
In a post on her Snapchat page, Toke shared the old messages she received from trolls who mocked her over not having a husband or child.
She expressed gratitude to her Maker for having the final say and steadily shaming the devices of the wicked.
“The God that steadily shames the devices of the wicked. The one that’ll always have the final say.
Thankful”.
Re-editing her post, Toke expressed gratitude to her Maker for glorifying himself and doing it all with ease.
“This song.
This very song.
Thank you, Jesus, for glorifying yourself and doing it all with ease”.
In another post, she made it known that she wasn’t highlighting negativity but basking in God’s goodness. She hoped that anyone struggling could find the strength to believe that God has the final say.
“Shared that not to highlight negativity but to bask in the goodness of God, and I hope anyone struggling can find the strength to believe that God has the final say”.
Kemi Filani reported on August 13th that Toke, via her Instagram page, announced that she is expecting her first child with a video of her baby bump.
On her latest podcast, the former OAP broke down in tears as she reflected on her trials, revealing that she prayed to God that she wanted to turn 40 being a mum. She said that God answered her prayers as she got pregnant the next month after her 40th birthday.
Recall that in an episode on her podcast, earlier this year, Toke said she was ready to settle down as a second, third or fourth wife.
In a previous episode, Toke spoke about being single and childless at 40. She admitted that if she had gotten married for a second time, she would have divorced as she noted how the lessons never ended. The media personality said that she doesn’t allow herself to wallow in pity.
Last year, the media personality had replied to a troll who mocked her for being unmarried. The troll identified had stated that the media personality had passed the single era and was now in her unmarried era. Toke reacted, declaring that God would do hers for her and that her troll would be alive to congratulate her.
Toke was once married to fitness expert, Maje Ayinde but the marriage crashed in 2016, after two years on the grounds of adultery.
