The new renders give us a possible first look at the Google Pixel 7a

We haven’t been expecting the Google Pixel 7a launch for several months yet, but that hasn’t stopped details from surfacing online. The latest includes a series of demos developed by experienced leaker Onleaks (aka Steve Hemmerstoffer) and smartbreaks (Opens in a new tab).

It is not clear what information was used to develop these offers. In the past, early renderings used leaked CAD files and other technical documents, and others were based on guesswork and speculation. The fact that Smartprix has published exact dimensions of the phone suggests that it could be the first.

The design isn’t all that different from the Pixel 6a, which isn’t a huge surprise. The renders feature the same ribbon-like camera module on the back of the phone, and the more prominent aperture lens featured on both the Pixel 7 and Pixel 6a range. According to Smartprix, the phone’s dimensions will be 6.0 x 2.87 x 0.35 inches, which is a fraction larger than the Pixel 6a’s 5.99 x 2.82 x 0.35 inches.
