Nollywood actor Adebayo Salami is celebrating his colleague, Antar Olaniyan, following his latest achievement.
Kemi Filani reported that Olaniyan had bagged a doctorate degree from Achievers Networks UK Academy. The honour was conferred in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the creative and entertainment industry.
Taking to his Instagram page to celebrate with him, Adebayo congratulated him on the award as he welcomed him to the club of doctors.
He stated that Antar’s doctoral degree is a deserving testament to the fact that he has indeed paid his dues as a profound filmmaker with a knack for details and excellence. He called him the pride of Osogbo.

Last year, Adebayo Salami, alongside his colleagues, Jide Kosoko, and Patience Ozokwo were honored with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Theatre and Media Arts from the same University. This was to celebrate their illustrious careers and contributions to the entertainment industry.
Similarly, Yoruba actress Laide Bakare bagged a Doctorate Degree in Arts & Humanities from the American University of Peace and Governance, USA. The movie star stated that it was official for people to address her as a Dr.
In 2023, Pete Edochie had bagged two doctorate degrees and an award. The veteran was honored with a doctorate in Literature, another doctorate degree in Arts, and a lifetime achievement award by the International School of Technology and Management, ISTM University, Togo. The honor was given to the veteran for his artistic involvement and grooming in the Nigerian creative industry.
In 2022, Sola Sobowale bagged an honorary doctorate degree in Philosophy from Estam University. Sola shared the good news on her Instagram page as she announced that she was now a doctor and in a new dispensation.
Also, Ireti Doyle had bagged a Doctorate Degree. Expressing her joy, Ireti revealed that she never foresaw her achievement, as she had envisaged many things for herself but she didn’t see this coming.
To top it off, veteran comedian, Klint Da Drunk was honored with a doctorate degree. Expressing his joy, Klint revealed how surreal his achievement still felt to him. He stated that he wished his father was alive to see his achievement.
