James Rodriguez has plenty to do outside of his activities on the football pitch.
He is currently playing in Qatar for Al-Rayyan but is very keen to return to Europe as he believes he has a lot to offer at the top level.
So far, that doesn’t seem to be the case, as he hasn’t received any serious offers. He is unlikely to play for his team as long as his future is up in the air so he has to take care of other projects.
James has partnered with the ZKSpace brand, with the aim of auctioning, open to the public, so-called NFT files, which are gaining notoriety.
They consist of non-fungible tokens, i.e. a digital certificate of authenticity which, thanks to blockchain technology, the same technology used in cryptocurrencies (tokens), is associated with a single file digital.
The brand itself announced the auction with the following introduction: “James Rodriguez Zurda NFT is a collection of 1500 exclusive and limited edition NFTs celebrating the impressive career of the Colombian soccer superstar.
“In launching his commemorative collection, James Rodriguez has joined a highly regarded list that includes players such as Cristiano Ronaldo.”
The first auction will be on August 15, where 11 NFTs will be auctioned off, and two days later “1,489 Mystery Boxes” will be offered for sale.
Some of the moments up for sale are James’ goal against Uruguay at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, as well as other relevant moments from his time with big teams like Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
