Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has spoken out on her daughter, Priscilla Ojo’s upcoming nuptial.

Iyabo affirmed that there is power in the tongue as she noted how she has always been declaring that she wants her daughter to get married early, but she used to tell her she wasn’t ready. The mother of two said she had to Google about the country, talked to her boyfriend, Juma, on the phone, and told him the steps involved in meeting in-laws and that he had to come to Nigeria to introduce himself, which he did. Ojo said Juma happily agreed as she praised her son-in-law for being a family-oriented man. The controversial actress gushed over how his sister is so much in love with Priscilla and how they are already preparing for the wedding.

“There is power in the tongue. I have always been saying that I wanted my daughter to marry early, but she used to tell me she wasn’t ready. One day, she came to meet me and said that she was ready and we would be going to Tanzania. I quickly checked Google to do my research about Tanzania. I talked to Juma on the phone and I told him the steps involved in meeting in-laws and that he had to come to Nigeria to introduce himself. He happily agreed that he would take the next available flight to Nigeria. Juma is a very nice and family-oriented man who grew up with love. He loves his mum so much and has respect for women. His sister is so much in love with Priscilla. All the necessary arrangements and meetings are ongoing in preparation for their wedding in 2025”.

Recall that in March, Iyabo revealed her desire for Priscilla to follow her footstep by getting married at a young age and having kids. The mother of two stated that Priscilla always avoids questions about marriage, but she isn’t the type to put her child under pressure.

Luckily for her, her desire came to pass as in August, Priscilla brought the Tanzanian singer to Nigeria for his birthday, where she and her family sweetly welcomed him. Her actress mother had ushered him into the Ojo family, noting how extra was their middle name, as she declared her love for him.

Priscilla hinted at being engaged as she and her boyfriend, Jux, stunned in lovely Yoruba traditional attires. Kemi Filani later learnt that the lovebirds are engaged and are set to tie the knot next year.

Last week, Juma Jux’s sister had visited Nigeria, where she received a rousing welcome from Iyabo and her daughter. Iyabo described her daughter’s sister-in-law as amazing and a precious addition to their family, as she promised to give her an unforgettable experience and shower her with love, laughter, and adventure in Lagos.
