Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has resumed his drama with Headies.
Kemi Filani reported a week ago that the 17th edition of the prestigious award was held at Landmark Event Centre, Lagos, and as expected, many celebrities were in attendance.
Unfortunately, Portable didn’t win any awards at the event, and on his Instagram story, he slammed the award organisers for robbing him again.
He stated that though they didn’t give him an award, God gave him grace. He also shot an unknown colleague, noting that the singer had won an award but hadn’t blown it.
“They no give us award, but God gives us grace.
Now they’re deceiving you. They carry awards and give to people who don’t blow. We blow inside the hole (Konga); people know us. You dey mad ni. “

Kemi Filani reported in 2022 that the ‘Zazuu’ crooner created trouble for himself and his career when he emphatically claimed he formed the One Million Boys and Ajah Boys group. The video generated angry reactions from Nigerians, who called him out for his barbaric behaviour and unbridled tongue.
Following the shocking revelation, Portable was disqualified from The Headies, which led to his several rants.
He had dragged his colleague, Goya Menor, for winning an award in the same category he was nominated for. Portable called Goya a mere hype man and said he didn’t deserve to win the street hop prize.
Goya responded to Portable’s comments, saying that he cannot be compared to Portable because he is first-class material, unlike Portable, who can’t boast of attending kindergarten, let alone graduating from a tertiary institution.
Portable also attacked Buju BNXN for winning the next-rated award. He argued that his songs are more popular than Buju’s. He further insisted that he is well known in the streets and the highest-paid artiste in the trenches. He added that he earns over N4m per show in the trenches.
