They Have Threatened To Kill Me For Speaking Against Same-Gender Sex – TG Omori Raises Alarm

Nigerian music video director, ThankGod Omori, popularly known as TG Omori, has claimed he is facing death threats after he shared his stand on same-sex relationships and later became the subject of an online report.

Naijaonpoint reports that the incident began over the weekend when he shared his view on homosexuality on 𝕏.

“Having same gender sex is evil,” he wrote.

His comment spread widely and triggered strong responses from many users.

The director later said the situation worsened after a magazine published a report accusing him of using the online reactions to promote his eyewear brand.

He said the article made matters more tense and exposed him to danger.

TG Omori explained that since the article went out, messages threatening his life have been coming in at all hours.

He stated that he feels unsafe and said the publication wrongly portrayed him, putting him in harm’s way before a global audience.

He wrote while quoting an article about him shared by the magazine: “This is a media house trying to set me up and risk my life by gaslighting a global community they serve to blacklist me for speaking my truth in accordance to the laws of the federal republic of Nigeria. Death threats and wishes have been sent to me day n night, threatening my safety n security as a citizen, since after this article was published by @Zikoko_Mag.”
