Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson Okojie, has claimed that some people attempted to ruin her marriage.
Naijaonpoint reports that the film star made this known while celebrating her 14th marriage anniversary with her husband, Prince Okojie.
Mercy also shared adorable family photos, describing her husband as her friend and strength.
According to the thespian, some people had objected to their union and wanted to ruin it, but God kept everything in order.
She wrote, “Happy wedding anniversary to us @princeodiokojie. It is 14 years with my husband, my friend, and my strength. Awesome God. They said, ” No, but God said yes. They said to ruin it, but God kept fixing it all, and to him be all the glory.”
In other news, Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie, has publicly apologised to fellow actress, Mercy Johnson and Senator Ned Nwoko over her outburst on social media.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Angela described the past few days as a time of deep reflection.
Naijaonpoint reports that she admitted that her past actions and emotional outbursts may have caused hurt, especially to Mercy Johnson.
According to her, she tends to speak from a place of emotion when hurt, often without filtering her words.
However, she acknowledged that this approach had caused unintended pain.
Angela directly apologized to Mercy Johnson, stating that she now realizes the impact of her words and values Mercy’s mental health.
She pleaded with Mercy to forgive her, saying she never intended harm to her or her family.
Angela also extended an apology to Senator Ned Nwoko, noting that her angry response was triggered by what she described as unprovoked attacks.
She admitted that her reaction was not appropriate and said she would never deliberately disrespect the senator.
