According To Our Reporter, former Pension Task Force boss Abdulrasheed Maina has accused security operatives of brutalizing his only son and shooting his vehicle with 57 bullets during what he described as a targeted attack.

Speaking while receiving a Rule of Law and Courage Award from the NBA Garki Branch, in a video shared by TV Platinum on January 22, 2026, Maina said his son, an American citizen, was arrested by a senior police officer, taken to SARS, tortured and locked in a dark room.

“They took my son away, I didn’t know where my son was. What did he do?” Maina asked emotionally, alleging that the attack was meant to get at him.

He claimed the bullet-riddled car and ordeal were part of a wider plot to destroy him and his family. Watch full report
