'They walk among us': White House launches ‘aliens’ page — to target migrants, not UFOs

The White House has launched a space-themed website titled “Aliens” that lists the arrest numbers of immigrants living illegally in the US.

The website, which has an eerie look and feel, with texts appearing in a typed-out manner as users scroll down, reads, “They walk among us. For 60 years, the U.S. government has kept a closely guarded secret. Aliens have been walking among us, living in our neighborhoods, and interacting with us in our daily lives. They’ve shopped in the same stores, attended the same classes as our children, and lived seemingly normal human existences.”

It added, “With one exception — they do not belong here.”

The White House even posted a short video on its X account to promote the new website. The video shows a UFO picking up a man and dropping him across the border.

A ticker on the page displays the number of so-called “encounters” recorded, with the count reaching 3.1 million and continuing to rise as of Thursday evening.

The page does not specify the time period covered by those encounters. However, the figure appears to align with a September 2024 report from Homeland Security Republicans, which cited the total number of nationwide encounters recorded during President Trump’s first term.

The website touts President Donald Trump’s “courage” in apprehending these “aliens”, saying, “President Trump  was the first to call out the real danger Aliens pose to every American family, every community, and the future of our nation.”

Interactive maps, arrest list

Beneath the ticker, the website features a heat map of the United States displaying immigration arrest statistics drawn from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) data.

Users can search by city or state to view information, including the total number of arrests in a given area, the timing of those arrests, detainees’ countries of origin, and any alleged criminal charges or gang affiliations linked to them.

The site also provides a link to ICE’s online tip form, which the White House says can be used to report “suspicious aliens.”
