Nollywood actress Omobolaride Akinyanju, better known as Ashabi, is finally ready to move on following breakup with her singer baby daddy, Portable.
The Yoruba actress, in a series of posts on social media, shared photos and clips from her date with a mystery man. Though she didn’t share photos of the man, eagle-eyed netizens could spot him wearing white in her black shade.
Ashabi said she went on a date with a stranger, and it feels good. She added that sometimes one needs to step out, breathe, laugh, and enjoy the moment without overthinking everything.

A month ago, during an exchange with her baby daddy/ex-boyfriend, Portable, she laid a heavy curse on him and vowed never to return to him.
On Valentine’s Day, Ashabi showed off the gifts she received from a mystery man.
While, speaking, in an interview with Oyinmomo TV, Ashabi said Portable chanced her when she was younger and took advantage of it. She said the singer used to be a caring person. Ashabi revealed that Portable has 10 children at age 32, and she is the mother of two of his kids.
Recall that on New Year, Portable and Ashabi had engaged in a heated argument, as Ashabi told the singer to kill her.
In an Instagram video, Portable claimed that Ashabi came to his house to attack his family. He claimed that his then-pregnant wife was beaten mercilessly, and further claimed Ashabi’s mother accused him of using charm on her daughter.
Ashabi spoke up for herself, narrating what happened. She alleged that he brought out an axe and forcefully took all their phones, gave her younger brother a blow in his eye, and slapped her younger sister, which left her seeking safety in his office.
In another post, the mother of two had addressed critics, telling them to leave them alone. She told them to allow her to breathe and reduce their advice, and further told them to let her be and allow her to think for herself.
While speaking about her love life, she described Portable as a narcissist, noting how one can’t predict his next move, especially when he is the jealous type and has anger issues. She said she wakes up every day thinking about how best to manage him.
