Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has lamented over her son’s demand.
The filmmaker, via her Instagram page, revealed that her 6-year-old son wants a house with an elevator. Questioning how she could explain to him that work isn’t about money, she asked who could make ‘janglover’ in her living room.
Wumi said her son always uses the ‘you work so hard’ game on her.
“Pls, how do I explain to a 6-year-old that ‘work is not money’.
This boy wants a house with an elevator. Pls, who can make ‘jangrova’ in my living room that will go nowhere.
Who can help with the Lamba I can give?
When you hear” but you work so hard”.
Last month, Toriola celebrated her son’s 6th birthday. Describing him as her ‘little man,’ the controversial actress promised to be the best mum for him, and made him know that she and his dad love him.
In July, Wumi was a proud mother as her son graduated from preschool. Toriola expressed gratitude to her mini-me for being so amazing, attentive, full of wisdom, compassionate and loving. She stated that how she manages to blend being an amazing mother and holding onto a career that’s really demanding is the Grace of God and her son.
In an Instagram post, the Yoruba actress lamented her tummy size. She revealed how her son embarrasses her over her love for eating eba.
On his 5th birthday last year, the Yoruba actress recalled a funny exchange between her and her son, noting how his maturity makes her think he is older. She expressed gratitude to God for the strength to always be a present mother.
Recall that in 2023, Wumi announced her separation from her husband and the father of her son. She revealed she walked away from a domestic violent and abusive relationship for her sanity’s sake.
Her ex-husband, on his part, claimed that their marriage was filled with violence, deceit, and betrayal on Wumi Toriola’s part. Describing his marriage as a total regret, he further alleged that Wumi physically assaulted his mother, a claim which the actress debunked and slammed her ex for.
