A former member of the Ontario Provincial Parliament for Carleton, Golsa Ghamari has reacted to the killing and abduction of worshippers in a CAC church in Eruku Town, Kwara State.
Golsa, popularly known as Goldie Ghamari described the invasion of the place of worship and the killing and abduction of worshippers as an act of Jihad.
A strong human rights advocate and far-right activist who has been quite vocal against Islamic terrorism, Ghamari urged the world to wake up to the reality of Islamic terrorism ravaging countries across the globe.
Quoting a video report on the incident in the church which was posted on X by Sahara Reporters, Ghamari said, the violence in Nigeria would spread across the world if not tackled decisively.
She wrote, “This is what Jihad looks like.
“Wake up world. If you don’t fight to end the Muslim Genocide of Christians in Nigeria, this violence will eventually spread to your own country.
“Learn from those of us whose societies have experienced Islamic terrorism for the last 1400 years,” Ghamari stated.
The attack in Eruku, Kwara state happened barely hours after some terrorists stormed the Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School in Maga, Kebbi state and abducted 25 schoolgirls.
The terrorists also killed the vice principal of the institution during the attack which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, November 18.
Following the incident, President Bola Tinubu has ordered the military and other security agencies to immediately go after the terrorists and ensure the immediate rescue of the girls.
In addition, individuals, groups and international agencies have condemned the attack while calling for efforts to ensure safety for children in their learning environments.
