In an interview with her colleague, Biola Bayo, for her show Talk to B, Doris revealed that she was frustrated and depressed, but she never showed that side of her because she knew the family she came from. According to her, her parents taught her to be strong no matter the challenge. Doris revealed that her son was 4 years old when Daniel took him to the US, and the last time she played a motherly role to her son was when he was 3 years old. She claimed that when she called him, he wouldn’t pick and when he finally picks he would claim he was busy and she would be unable to reach him anymore. Watch interview here. Daniel had taken custody of their son, who he took with him to the United States to live with his second wife, Stella. In 2018, Doris was allowed to reunite with her son when she celebrated her birthday. Recall that Daniel Ademinokan moved on from Doris and got married to her colleague, Stella Damasus, but the marriage fell apart in 2020 over irreconcilable differences. Ademinokan was said to have left their marriage and relocated to another state in the United States of America, where the couple lived.
