Though I am part of your new movie project should I be running away Cute Abiola calls out Funke Akin

Nigerian skitmaker Abdulgafar Abiola, popularly known as Cute Abiola, has called out actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele.

In a note penned to her, he told her he wouldn’t be available on the 13th for the premiere of her new movie, Everybody Loves Jenifa. He noted how he is a buddy person and has lots of engagements, meetings, events, and calls to attend. Cute Abiola jokingly claimed that the new US President-elect, Donald Trump is even waiting for his call.

Bearing all this in mind, he stated that his love for Funke is the reason why he is paying her attention, and though he is in her movie, it doesn’t mean he should be running away from her. Abiola promised to check his schedule to see if would be available.

“Dear @funkejenifaakindele!!! I just want to tell you that I will not be free on the 13th, you know I am a very busy person, and I have a lot of things I am doing, meetings here and there, too many calls, events and all, even the new America president, Donald Trumpets has been calling me back to back to see my congratulations post, I ignored his calls! But you are just so close to me that’s why I am doing this for you, tho I am part of your movie project, and so what? I should be running away. Well, congratulations on your new movie Coming out on the 13th of December; I will check my schedule and see if I am going to be available that day, I wish you all the best, dear @funkejenifaakindele”.

A few days back, Cute Abiola had called out Funke Akindele over her fake life after she posed with a borrowed car. Taking to her comment section, he questioned why she was living a fake life as he pondered on why the movie star couldn’t work hard to get her own.

In other news, the comedian had reflected on his growth. Taking to his Instagram page to share some epic throwback photos of himself, Cute Abiola revealed that he was always shocked by his growth, as he wondered how he could transform from his past.

In February, Cute Abiola had reflected on his time spent in detention. In November 2021, the comedian spent 10 days in Navy detention for defying military laws by posting a video of himself in military uniform on social media. This act was said to violate the armed forces’ social media policy. The comedian was later released after 18 days to serve his punishment after he was tried for misconduct and indiscipline.

Reminiscing on the past, Cute Abiola admitted that the military humbled him as he noted how he spent 30 days inside the cell. However, he remains grateful to the Armed Forces.
