The Door-To-Door Movement, a pro-Tinubu support group, has said President Bola Tinubu has performed well enough to deserve re-election in 2027, citing the impact of his economic reforms on states and the visible infrastructure projects across the country.
Precious Ine, South East Zonal Coordinator of the group, stated this in a statement made available to journalists on Saturday. The group is a socio-political grassroots campaign established under the patronage of Niger Delta leader High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo (Tompolo) to mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
He said, “History has shown that transformational nations are built by courageous leaders who are willing to make difficult decisions for the greater good. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has demonstrated such leadership through bold economic reforms aimed at repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth, economic resilience, and long-term national prosperity.”
He noted that since assuming office, President Tinubu has introduced reforms across key sectors of the economy, including oil and gas, foreign exchange, taxation, infrastructure, electricity, agriculture, manufacturing, investment, education, technology, and social intervention programmes. These reforms are intended to strengthen the nation’s economic foundation, improve the investment climate, encourage local production, create jobs, and secure a brighter future for generations to come.
According to him, “One of the most significant achievements has been the renewed focus on the oil and gas sector. Through stronger protection of critical national assets and intensified efforts against crude oil theft and pipeline vandalism, Nigeria has recorded improvements in crude oil production, thereby enhancing government revenue and strengthening the economy.’’
