EXCLUSIVE: Todd Tucker NOW DEMANDING PRIMARY CUSTODY OF KANDI BURRUSS’ KIDS… AND HE’S COMING FOR THE PRENUP TOO
Media Take Out has just gotten our hands on the latest court filings from the messy Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker divorce, and child… this thing is going left FAST.
We told you that Todd was coming for Kandi … now here it is.
What started off looking like an “amicable split” has officially turned into a full blown custody and prenup battle. And according to these documents, Todd is making major moves behind the scenes.
TODD SAYS THE KIDS LIVE WITH HIM FULL TIME
In papers filed on November 26, Todd told the judge that their two young children are currently living with him in Georgia. He claims Kandi is “away for out-of-state work obligations” and will continue to be gone “for at least the next several months.”
Translation: Todd is setting the foundation to argue that he’s the primary caretaker… and should remain that way.
Todd is asking the court to give him PRIMARY custody, while allowing Kandi “substantial time and meaningful access.” His lawyer even made sure to call Kandi a “loving and capable parent,” but make no mistake, this is a serious custody play.
TODD CLAIMS HE WAS ‘PRESSURED’ INTO THE PRENUP
Here’s where it gets even messier. Todd is officially challenging the prenup.
He admits he signed a prenup before the April 2014 wedding… but claims the entire thing was shady.
In his filing, Todd says:
• Kandi’s legal team had been negotiating the prenup with his team for weeks
• Then suddenly, the final agreement was presented to him immediately before the wedding, with no lawyer present
• His own attorneys had no notice
• He signed under “pressure” and “without proper legal counsel”
In other words, Todd is telling the judge the prenup might not be enforceable at all. And if that’s the case… the financial stakes jump from “minor” to “millions.”
TODD WANTS EVERYTHING ON THE TABLE
Todd isn’t stopping at custody or the prenup. He’s also requesting a full division of ALL marital assets — real estate, cash, businesses, personal property, you name it.
If the prenup is tossed out, Todd could walk away with a massive chunk of Kandi’s empire.
WHAT THIS ALL MEANS
People close to Kandi previously insisted the split would be peaceful… but this filing proves otherwise. Todd is positioning himself carefully, publicly praising Kandi while strategically making moves that could flip the entire divorce in his favor.
Kandi posted Thanksgiving photos with the kids, but Todd was noticeably missing. Meanwhile, Todd has been posting the children nonstop while avoiding pics with her.
Now we see why.
This divorce just went from mild to nuclear.
