“Too many youths have fallen” – Netizens mourn as Gospel singer Aduke Gold dies

This year has undoubtedly taken many celebrities and beloved personalities as another talented and promising singer, Aduke Gold, dies.

The news of her demise was shared on Tuesday by fellow gospel artiste Esther Igbeke on social media, who posted a tribute with Aduke Gold’s picture and the caption: “A general has fallen. RIP.”

Though the cause of her death remain unknown, netizens flooded comment sections mourning her.

 Last month, prominent television presenter, actress, fashion designer and singer Lara Odubo died on Saturday, July 28th, 2024. The sad news was made known by blogger Temilola Sobola. Though the cause of her death was unknown, reports claimed that the entertainer had been ill for some days before her passing.

In April, Nollywood was thrown into mourning over the untimely death of  young actor, Junior Pope who died after drowning while returning from a movie location with his colleagues in a boat at Anam River in Anambra State.

In February, young Yoruba actor, Sisi Quadri passed away after he was rushed to the hospital in his hometown of Iwo, Osun State, after suffering persistent hiccups which were caused by kidney-related issues.
