Top Cryptocurrency Prices Today, August 5th

Today’s cryptocurrency prices were inconsistent, with bitcoin trading under the D23,000 ceiling. The price of Bitcoin, the largest and most well-known cryptocurrency, was down almost 1% at D22,971.

According to CoinGecko, the global crypto market valuation has crossed USD1 trillion today, after being nearly flat at D1.12 trillion over the past 24 hours.

The performance of other cryptocurrencies was different today, with the price of XRP, Solana, BNB, Litecoin, Chainlink, Tether, Polkadot, Tron, Avalanche, Uniswap and Polygon rising the previous day, as well as a decrease in the prices of Stellar and Apcoin.

BTC falls to $22,000, but bulls still control the market. Currently support for BTC is at D20,000, while resistance is at D23,000. BTC may retest its USD23,000 level soon.

On the other hand, the second largest cryptocurrency, Ethereum, is slowly building up and building strength to act. According to Edul Patel, CEO and co-founder of global crypto investment platform Mudrex, further growth is possible if the price reaches the level of USD1,700 today.

Two of the world’s top derivatives exchange owners are entering the cryptocurrency industry with new futures products. CME Group Inc. will launch Bitcoin and Ether Euro Futures on August 29, 2022. CME Group and Cboe Global Markets Inc., which announced plans to enter the bitcoin futures market prior to CME, control the majority of the cryptocurrency futures market.
