In a dramatic turn of events, Tory Lanez and his attorney, Crystal Morgan, have been hit with a hefty $20,000 fine for obstructing the legal process in the ongoing defamation case involving Megan Thee Stallion and YouTube blogger Milagro Gramz, whose legal name is Milagro Cooper.

The ruling came after Lanez was found in contempt of court for refusing to answer questions during the trial.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Lisette M. Reid issued a stern warning to Lanez, emphasizing the importance of compliance.

Reports from Rolling Stone reveal that Lanez, unfazed by the financial penalty, responded nonchalantly, stating, “Whatever the fines are, I’ll pay them. I’m a millionaire. I don’t care.”

The defamation trial, which started on on November 17 in Miami, centers on allegations made by Megan Thee Stallion, whose legal name is Megan Pete. She claims that Lanez and Cooper orchestrated a smear campaign against her during her own trial against Lanez in 2022. Cooper is alleged to have created deep fake p*rnography of Megan Thee Stallion and spread false claims that she was an “alcoholic” in need of a guardian.

Lanez was convicted in 2022 for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot during a heated argument after a pool party at Kylie Jenner’s home. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the incident. Despite his legal troubles, Lanez attempted to file a motion for a new trial, which was denied just a month later.

Since the shooting, the Houston Hottie has expressed that she has not experienced a single day of “peace,” leading her to file a restraining order against Lanez earlier this year. In a comprehensive 31-page document, she denied his new claims.
