Tory Lanez made some bombshell allegations against Roc Nation on his new album, Peterson.
On the track “My Shayla,” Lanez accuses Roc Nation of targeting him and even alleges that reporter Meghann Cuniff, who has been openly supportive of Megan Thee Stallion, is on the payroll.
“Roc Nation comin’ for Milagro, that’s really funny/ Even more, they tryna find ways to relate it to me/ If I was petty I would countersue ’cause I got evidence/ Meghann Cuniff been on payroll to play a dummy,” he rapped.
Fans noticed that his flow on the song is very similar to that of that of fellow Canadian rapper Drake. Drake recently sued his record label, UMG, over his feud with Kendrick Lamar.
“When it was me, I was socially found guilty before they even proved it/ My lawyer was playin’ both sides my whole case/ I ain’t find out ’til I was sittin’ in the cage/ I stare at the ceilin’ think about the s–t she made me wave/And Randy Zepeda got paid to manipulate my DNA, haha/Lucky I got Caesar, Mitch, and United The People that’s out to slay.”
Zepeda is an L.A. Crime Labs DNA expert who Lanez accused of engaging in “invalid and illegal tactics” to convict him wrongfully back in 2023.
Lanez is still fighting for his freedom after being sentenced to 10 years in prison for the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. He has always maintained his innocence.
