Tottenham Players Continue to Look for an Exit From North London

There are no other choices left but to leave the club for Harry Winks, Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso, and Sergio Reguilon; Tottenham manager Antonio Conte left them out of first-team training, with the club adamant to sell all before the window closes 1st of September.

The request from the manager is that the four players mentioned train alone and away from the first team until they are sold by the club. Since the summer window opened these players have been looking for a way out but have since been unsuccessful in their bid to leave.

Unwanted Tottenham stars Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso, Sergio Reguilon and Harry Winks have been banished from the first-team and are training individually, as the club continues to look for buyers before the end of the transfer window.

The quartet have been working alone and at separate times from the rest of Antonio Conte’s squad since the club returned from their pre-season tour of South Korea, having been told the head coach can only work with a certain number of players.

Also, having won the first game 4-1 against Southampton and all of them not making the matchday squad, there is no chance the club will be holding onto them beyond the summer.

The Current News Surrounding Tottenham’s Exiled Players
Harry Winks: Possible Spain switch or Premier League swap

Two months ago, it was reported that Everton were the club leading the race for Winks, with the Goodison club looking to strengthen in every area by adding more depth but for cheap, hence the links to Harry.

Nothing materialised with the Toffees eventually withdrawing their interest. Now the midfielder has been linked with a move to Spain’s La Liga and a possible move to Valencia, after rejecting the opportunity to go and play in Italy with Sampdoria.

Tottenham has offered Tanguy Ndombele to Newcastle

Spurs’ most expensive club signings, until they signed Richarlison for £60 million, are being offered to clubs for a cut price. Worryingly, some of the clubs have shown no interest and are not entertaining any Ndombele talks.

Newcastle was one of the Premier League sides he was offered to, but Eddie Howe has since denied a possible move for the midfielder. Talks have now emerged that he could be on his way to Spain, as Spurs have opened talks with Villarreal for him and the next player in discussion.

Giovani Lo Celso to Fly to Spain for Medical

It’s been a long wait but the stagnated report of “Spurs are locked in negotiations with Villarreal for Giovani Lo Celso” has finally changed with the midfielder set to jet off for to Spain and complete his medical along with signing his papers.

They then plan to work on the deal for Ndombele and complete the double swoop of Tottenham players. The deal for Lo Celso is reportedly a loan move with the option and not an obligation to buy.

Sergio Reguilon’s Bags are Packed

When Ryan Sessegnon scored Tottenham’s first goal for 2022/23, you could sense Reguilon started packing his stuff. He has been linked with an exit and has long since last season, been pushed further down the pecking order by Conte.

He was linked with a move to Sevilla but a deal stalled due to his personal demands, which the La Liga outfit was finding difficult to meet. Barcelona was a club that was mentioned, but their financial situation gives them no leg to stand on in the transfer market, as they cannot register any of their new signings; they are out of the race indefinitely.

Juventus had their name thrown in the hat, but that’s where it stops, nothing more. Other than moves to his homeland or the Serie A, Brighton’s Graham Potter squashed any rumours about his club and the Spaniard, stating that he is happy with the selection in the left-back department.

Due to the lack of interest shown in some of the players in the discussion, the club has accepted that they will probably only get to sell them just before the transfer window closes, when clubs start turning to their third/fourth choices after missing out on their main summer targets.
