True Crime Documentaries We're Looking Forward to in 2023

True crime popularity, especially in the form of a series, has been growing exponentially. The increase in the search for this type of material created a phenomenon that evolved to streaming services spending a lot of money on major productions every year. The amount of people watching these stories is astonishing: in a 2022 poll, half of the Americans declared they watch the genre, and 13% said it was their favorite. “Evil tends to fascinate us, you know, we really want to read all about it. We want to know what drives someone to do these evil thinkable acts because it's so outside of our own realm — for most of us," stated clinical professor of psychology and director of UW-Milwaukee Psychology Clinic, Stacey Neu.
