Marking America’s 250th anniversary, US President Donald Trump used his address to celebrate what he described as a national revival, blending patriotic themes with his administration’s legislative priorities, immigration policies and record in office.
Addressing supporters, Trump said, “The American dream is back,” while claiming that rising recruitment levels had made it difficult to secure jobs in the military and police force.
The president also highlighted key elements of his domestic agenda, including the Save America Act, efforts to reform voting laws, his executive order seeking to end birthright citizenship, and measures aimed at protecting the Second Amendment, which guarantees the right to bear arms.
