The United States President, Donald Trump, has released a photo of the captured Venezuelan President, Nicolas Maduro.
Naijaonpoint reports that Maduro was captured on Saturday, alongside his wife, by the United States forces in an audacious military operation.
The latest development comes a few months after the United States government doubled the reward for information leading to the arrest of Maduro to $50 million, citing his alleged role in international drug trafficking.
In an update, Trump, in a post on his Truth Social, shared a picture of the handcuffed and blindfolded Venezuelan president, Maduro.

Meanwhile, the United States has announced drug trafficking and terrorism-related charges against President Maduro, following what Donald Trump described as a large-scale military operation against the South American country.
Attorney General Pamela Bondi posted on X that Maduro and his wife, who were earlier removed from Venezuela by the US military, according to Washington, “will soon face the full wrath of American justice on American soil in American courts.”
Bondi recalled the Maduros face charges in New York federal court on existing “Narco-Terrorism Conspiracy, Cocaine Importation Conspiracy” charges.
