TWO children lost their lives in a single-vehicle accident in the Ewekoro Local Government Area along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.
According to a statement from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), five other individuals sustained injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The deceased have been taken to the morgue.
The FRSC reported that the accident involved a white Toyota Camry with the registration number AGL36JA.
The cause of the crash was attributed to excessive speed and overloading.
The FRSC Sector Commander in the state, Akinwumi Fasakin, urged motorists to avoid overloading their vehicles with goods or passengers.
He also expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and wished the injured a swift recovery.
