King’s Court star and former model Tyson Beckford visited The Breakfast Club, where he recalled a dangerous incident involving disgraced music mogul Sean Diddy Combs.
According to Beckford, he was standing outside a tattoo shop in New York City one day, chatting with a friend, when he was approached by fashion stylist Groovey Lew, a very close friend of Diddy’s.
Lew asked if he could take a picture with Beckford’s lady friend, but the model told Lew that he was having a conversation with her.
“He started getting tough. I said, ‘Lew, don’t talk to me like that.’ Next thing you know, he swung on me,” Beckford shared.
He said shortly after that, an NYPD officer on a motorcycle pulled up to them but left, despite there being evidence of a brawl. Lew then left the scene before returning with Diddy and some of his other Bad Boy Records staff. As he had been left to fend for himself and he was outnumbered, he went to his vehicle and pulled out a shotgun.
“I said, ‘Look, I only got five [shells] in here. Puff, you going to get it first. I’m going to shower the rest of y’all with it,”” he allegedly told Diddy and his crew. “I could have saved the world a whole lot of trouble and took him out back then. But then where would I be?
Beckford was then asked if their beef was over.
“I ain’t seen the man in years… but yeah, he know … don’t mess with me,” he replied.
