WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Ulefone is planning to launch a new smartphone soon, the Armor 26 Ultra. That handset will feature a 200-megapixel camera, and it will become the company’s new flagship, it seems. Ulefone did decide to tease the phone’s arrival by releasing a first-look video for it. That video is embedded below the article, and it has a duration of less than half a minute. It does give us a good look at the phone, it’s basically a hands-on video of sorts. The Ulefone Armor 26 Ultra does look like a rugged phone. It has a centered display camera hole, and its bezels sure are not thin. There is an interesting-looking camera island on the back, and the phone itself is also quite chunky. Why is that? Well, Ulefone has managed to fit a 15,600mAh battery on the inside! Yes, in addition to being a rugged phone, this is also a big-battery smartphone. It does support 120W charging too, by the way. Now, in regards to the camera, Ulefone will utilize the ISOCELL HP3 camera from Samsung, it’s a 1/1.4-inch camera sensor. It will be combined with an f/1.79 aperture lens. A 50-megapixel ultrawide camera will also be used, as will a 64-megapixel infrared camera, and a 3.2x telephoto camera. That camera island on the back looks as interesting for a good reason. Ulefone fitted a large speaker in between the cameras. It can provide an impressive 121dB of volume. This phone will also come in both walkie-talkie and non-walkie-talkie variants. The MediaTek Dimensity 8020 will fuel the device, while 12GB of RAM will be included. You’ll be able to bring its RAM up to 24GB, though, thanks to virtual RAM. A 6.78-inch fullHD+ display will also be used, and it will offer a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is expected to launch in mid-May.
