Nigerian singer Peter Okoye has narrated his experience with a waitress in the United States who complained about the tip he left after a meal.
According to a post seen by Naijaonpoint on his Instagram story, Okoye, during the visit reportedly spent about $1,000 at a restaurant and left a $60 tip for the waitress.
However, the waitress identified as Sandra Zubia later sent him a message describing the tip as too small for the amount he spent.
She wrote: “How you come eat, come in hella late and chill at a restaurant. Your bill was A THOUSAND dollars and leave SIXTY dollars tip? Ridiculous. No wonder people hate y’all.”
The singer, surprised by the message, shared a screenshot of it on his Instagram story, saying he was shocked that someone could complain about the money he freely gave.
He expressed disbelief at what he described as an attitude of entitlement among some people abroad.
He wrote: “Sometimes, eh, dis oyinbos na them no get sense. Una dey craze for this Yankee aswear. For my own money again?”
