The Management of Osun State University has disclaimed a misleading post circulating on Facebook about its admission process and mentorship services.

The disclaimer was issued by Mr. Ademola Adesoji, the Public Relations Officer of Osun State University, Osogbo, on Monday.

The University stated that it is not the source of the information being shared online and warned the public to disregard it.

The management emphasized that it conducts a formal Post-UTME screening annually, with results released only by the institution.

It clarified that the University publishes the official cut-off mark each academic year to guide candidates on admission eligibility.

According to the statement, each year’s screening score and cut-off mark are only valid for that particular year and cannot be reused.

UNIOSUN confirmed that it has not commenced the 2025/2026 admission process as of now.

The institution assured that once the process begins, details will be posted only on its official website and verified social media platforms.

It warned that the University does not authorize or recognize any agent, tutorial centre, or WhatsApp group for admission activities.

The University urged applicants, parents, and guardians to avoid fraudulent schemes and rely only on official communication channels for updates.
