Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye has continued to lash out at a man for pirating her hit movie and song.
Kemi Filani reported that the movie star, in a now-deleted post, had raised alarm over the piracy of her movie, Love Lives Here, by a man identified as Emmanuel Davis. She said the man uploaded her movie on YouTube without permission, and monetized a song made specifically for her by singer, Ugochi.
Not done venting, she explained that she took down the other posts as advised by her management, however, she would ensure the man is behind bars and allow the authorities do their job.
Ademoye, clarified that she woke up to monetization of her movie being taken down. She claimed a song she has full ownership of was lifted and claimed by the man.
She noted how the man didn’t only steal her song, but, claimed copyright and took monetization which means he’s claiming the money from the movie belongs to him.
The award-winning actress said she isn’t an irresponsible person, doesn’t take what doesn’t belong to her, do all her findings before uploading a movie, hence, why she wouldn’t take it lightly with him.

A song I have full ownership of, a track I fully own with full approval from the artist was lifted and claimed by one emmanuel Davies.
Not only did he steal MY SONG, he claimed copyrights and took monetization which means he’s claiming the money from the movie belongs to him.
I’m not an irresponsible person, I do not take what doesn’t belong to me, I do all my findings before uploading a movie. I pay for all the soundtracks I use in My movie. Why one person would wake up one day, steal my song and claim it to be his own, I don’t know. But this is me saying, Emmanuel Davies, until I see you behind bars, I will not rest.

Funke Akindele, cried out over the high rate of piracy in Nollywood. The box office Queen urged Nigerians to say No to piracy, which is killing them. Funke noted how she worked so hard on her new project, spent a lot of resources, and is still investing in the movie.
Deyemi Okanlawon had spoken out against piracy, noting how Nollywood producers, especially newbies like himself try to tell global-level stories, with no support from government or financial institutions, yet Nigerians have no idea how much damage and loss their participation in piracy causes them.
Toyin Abraham took a huge step against piracy as she paraded 5 people trying to sell out her movie, Malaika. During a press conference, the mother of one revealed how she was hinted at the rampant piracy move, as she disclosed that she nearly went mãd because she had spent over five hundred million naira on the movie project.
Also, actress Wumi Toriola, laid a heavy curse on those asking if her movie would be available on YouTube or Telegram, and if they could have a Telegram link to watch the movie illegally, and she took to her Instagram Live to rain curses on them in her dialect.
To top it off, Bolaji issued a stern warning to content stealers on YouTube and other social media platforms. She let them know that she was ready for them as she revealed that she had constantly suffered setbacks because of them and had heard enough.
