The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has accused the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, of cutting a frustrated figure.
He argued that Makinde is frustrated by political happenings because he doesn’t understand that politics is different from being a contractor with oil companies.
Naijaonpoint reports that Wike took the swipe at Governor Makinde while speaking during his end-of-year media parley on Monday.
The Minister claimed that they have advised Makinde severally on what should be his next political course of action, but the Governor has consistently failed to adhere to their advice.
Wike also accused Makinde of being responsible for the crisis facing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
According to him, Makinde is causing problems in the PDP because he has a presidential ambition which he is not bold enough to speak about but wants to position people that will do his bidding in the party.
Earlier, Naijaonpoint had also reported that Wike has described as a blatant lie claims by Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, that he promised to hold down the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections.
According to Wike, who spoke during a media parley on Monday, there was never a meeting of such with President Tinubu where he made such a promise.
The FCT Minister added that Makinde has never called him Wike to his face.
