What is happening in New York?

***FOLLOW US ON RUMBLE***

It seems like the entire state is falling apart at the seams.

NYC is a hell-hole of crime and tyranny, and now upstate New York is treating kids like convicts with the food they’re being served.

That’s what one dad is dealing with after he got wind of what his son’s school lunch looked like.

He took photos, and the country was outraged.

Daily Caller reported that photos of cafeteria lunches served at an upstate New York public school district have gone viral on Facebook, sparking community outrage.

A father posted photos of the lunches provided by his children’s school cafeteria, garnering national attention and frustration among parents concerned about the small portions and quality of the food.

All four of Chris Vangellow’s children are students in the Parishville-Hopkinton Central School District (PHCSD) in Hopkinton, New York, and they’ve sent him pictures of their school lunches over the past few months.

Vangellow publicly posted a picture of his son’s lunch to his Facebook page on Jan. 12, showing four small chicken nuggets, carrots, rice and a carton of milk. He said when another one of his children went through the lunch line, “he didn’t even see any dry tasteless carrots available.”

Multiple commenters said prisoners eat higher-quality food and more appropriately-sized portions compared to the school-provided lunch.

“It’s disgusting that prisoners get fed better than children in some school districts do,” one comment said.

“Our prisoners get fed better than our kids in schools and elderly in nursing homes,” another comment said. “THAT’S the problem.”

On Jan. 14, the PHCSD superintendent, Dr. William E. Collins, issued a statement in response to Vangellow’s post, recognizing parents’ concern while defending the cafeteria due to restrictions and rules.

“The concerns expressed clearly resonated with students and parents as evidenced by the number of comments and shares,” the superintendent said. “In fairness to the cafeteria, students are allowed one more serving of fruits or vegetables and one additional nugget than appeared in the photograph; however, this doesn’t alter the message that many students and parents are dissatisfied with school lunches.”

Collins told the DCNF that the amount of food students are given has not changed since it became free at the beginning of the pandemic.

That stuff looks disgusting. It’s like the curse of Michelle Obama’s crappy lunches lives on.

The school says that the photos are a “little” misleading because they say there are more options than what was on the trays.

But the school agrees that the food does not look “appetizing.”

The UN Security Council has called on Afghanistan’s Taliban-led government to reverse policies restricting the human rights of women and girls.

The Security Council expressed “deep concern” over the Taliban’s restrictions limiting girls’ access to education and women’s employment, freedom of movement, and “full, equal, and meaningful participation in public life.”

After returning to power in August, the Taliban promised to allow women to continue their education and work outside the home and said there would be no dress code.

But in recent weeks, the Taliban has imposed restrictions reminiscent of when it first held power in Afghanistan from 1996-2001.

Earlier this month, it ordered all women in public to wear head-to-toe clothing that leaves only their eyes visible and said male relatives would face punishment for women’s dress-code violations.

Earlier this year, girls were barred from attending school after the sixth grade. Women also are restricted from venturing more than 72 kilometers from their homes without a male relative.

The council said it called on the Taliban “to swiftly reverse the policies and practices which are currently restricting the human rights and fundamental freedoms of Afghan women and girls.”

Semenya, who has lived through a wave of prejudice and stigma throughout her life, bravely opposed the track federation’s mandate to take testosterone-suppressing drugs.

Semenya has a congenital condition in which people have atypical sex chromosomes, and in past court documents she has confirmed her DSD to be of the 46 XY breed, which means she has female traits and male chromosomes.

The condition led to elevated levels of testosterone in the body and led the athletics governing body to issue a ruling in 2018, following her meteoric rise to fame, banning women with similar conditions from competing in international competitions.

In the end, Semenya fought a protracted battle with the International Athletics Federation (IAAF) over rules that banned athletes with high testosterone levels from competing in the 400, 800 or 1500 meters.

The rule prevents Semenya from participating in the 2019 World Championships in Doha, Qatar and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Semenya shares her story in an interview with HBO’s Real Sports

According to published in The Telegraph On the website, the former Olympic 800-meter champion has now opened up about her struggles in an HBO documentary.

This included having to make shocking recommendations to sports officials to prove she was not male, while she described the pain of being forced to take testosterone-lowering drugs.

“They probably thought I had a dick,” Semenya said in the interview. “I told them, ‘It’s okay. I’m a woman and I don’t care. If you want to see me as a woman, I’ll show you my vagina. Okay?’

“It (testosterone-suppressing drugs) made me sick, made me gain weight, had panic attacks, and I didn’t know if I was going to have a heart attack. It was like stabbing myself with a knife every day. But I had no choice.

“I’m 18, I want to run, I want to be successful [the] The Olympics are my only option. But I have to make it work. “

Semenya eventually refused medication to suppress naturally occurring testosterone, which cost her a place at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
