ALL 20 players of the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria squad to this year’s WAFU B U-17 Boys Tournament in Yamoussoukro, Cote d’Ivoire have passed the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) age tests.
The Nigeria Football Federation announced the results today.
The tests were conducted on the players in the early hours of yesterday by the CAF Medical Team.
The Golden Eaglets will play their first match of the competition on Wednesday against Benin Republic.
They will also face Burkina Faso in Group B.
Hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Niger Republic and Togo make up Group A.
The Golden Eaglets are the most successful team in FIFA U-17 World Cup history with five titles won in 1985, 1993, 2007, 2013 and 2015.
