10-men Manchester United secured three points when they welcomed Chelsea to the Old Trafford in their matchday five of the 2025-26 season campaign…
Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala has joined in the banter after Chelsea’s 2-1 loss to Manchester United in the Premier League clash on Saturday, Soccernet.ng reports.
Manchester United moved to the top half of the English Premier League table thanks to Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro’s first-half goal, which handed Ruben Amorim’s men the victory.
How Did Asisat Oshoala React to Manchester United’s Victory?
The former Barcelona forward posted a lighthearted video on her X (formerly Twitter) account with the caption:
“No chop am, na world champion….#MUNCHE”
In the clip, Oshoala was spotted eating alongside a friend while seemingly asking her the question, “Why don’t you like it?” responding to an unknown friend who seemed not to like a meal in the video.

... is a nod to the viral TikTok trend “No chop ”am”—where creators do a POV skit about refusing food only to end up eating it, to show their playful stubbornness.
Manchester United 2-1 Chelsea: What happened?
The Red Devils breathed life into their stuttering season with a gritty 2-1 victory over Chelsea at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Fernandes opened the scoring with his 100th goal for the club before Casemiro doubled the lead with a powerful header, only to be sent off before the break after picking up a second yellow card.
Chelsea pressed hard in the second half and pulled one back through Trevoh Chalobah’s header, but the Red Devils held firm despite the man disadvantage.
The result lifted Amorim’s men into the top half of the table with seven points—eight points behind Premier League table toppers, Liverpool.

Is Oshoala a Man United fan?
Oshoala has never hidden her admiration for Manchester United, with her early football inspiration tied closely to the club.
Reflecting on her childhood on Arise TV, the Super Falcons star earlier admitted:
“I did not have a female idol that I looked up to when I was younger because the games weren’t televised. You don’t see them in newspapers, news, and all that. I used to follow the male teams, I supported male sports people more. I liked Cristiano Ronaldo and Louis Saha. Most of the time, Barcelona and United players are always my favourite players.”
The Manchester club will travel to the Gtech Community Stadium to tackle Brentford in six days, and they will be hoping to build on their victory against Chelsea when they play the Bees.
