Christantus Uche has been linked with many clubs this summer, and there is still a possibility that he will leave before the transfer window closes….
Getafe players were caught on camera begging Super Eagles midfielder Christantus Uche to stay at the club, amid speculations of an exit this summer, Soccernet.ng reports.
Uche has been the subject of transfer talks at Getafe in recent weeks following his impressive campaign in the 2024/25 season.
The 22-year-old midfielder joined Getafe from third-tier Spanish club Ceuta just last year, but he adjusted to life in the top-flight seamlessly, contributing four goals and six assists in 33 La Liga games.
This summer, Uche has been linked to multiple clubs in the Premier League. But nothing serious came up until last week, when reports emerged that Wolverhampton Wanderers had put in a bid for Uche.
However, the deal did not materialize, as even though Getafe had sanctioned it, Wolves failed to reach an agreement with Uche.
Since then, the Super Eagles star has been linked with clubs like AC Milan, Como, Sunderland, and Leeds United.

Amid the drama surrounding Uche, his Getafe teammates have made a decisive move by pleading with him to stay.
