Nollywood actress Stella Damasus has made a pledge to her late husband, Jaiye Aboderin.
The delectable actress, via her Instagram page, shared a video of herself and daughters at the AMAN awards, where they received a posthumous award on his behalf.
In her caption, Damasus promised to keep his legacy alive and expressed his pride in the girls. She expressed gratitude to God for giving them two beautiful and intelligent girls.
Stella affirmed her love for him and revealed that they still miss him.
“21 years later, and we will continue to keep your legacy alive. I know you’d be so proud of how the girls have turned out. I give all glory to God because He genuinely gave us two amazing, beautiful, intelligent, and supportive girls. Jaiyejeje Aboderin, we love you forever, and we miss you so much. May his soul continue to rest in peace.

Two years ago, Stella marked the 19th anniversary of Jaiye’s passing. She called him several sweet names, describing him as her heartbeat and the father of her children. She revealed that her heart stopped when she lost him, but he had to start beating again for the sake of their daughters. Calling him her lifetime lover and angel, she promised never to forget him.
In 2022, Damasus had penned down a touching tribute to Jaiye Aboderin, by sharing a video collage of their loved life, revealing how speechless she was over him. She recounted their good times together and appreciated him for all he taught them and how he showed her true love.
Also, in 2022, she penned down a tribute to him, noting how he brought joy, happiness, comfort and support. She mentioned that she still cries sometimes and still wished she can spend more time with her and their children.
Recall that in 1999, Stella married her first husband, Jaiye Aboderin, at the age of 21. The couple had two daughters before he died suddenly in 2004.
Following the death of Aboderin, Stella got married to her colleague’s husband, Daniel Ademinokan but their marriage didn’t last long as they parted ways in 2020.
Ademinokan was said to have walked out of their marriage and relocated to another state in the United States of America, where the couple lived.
Opening up on their divorce, the mother of two stated that she thought the man she married was her soulmate, had a similar mindset, and could do everything together, but alas, she was served breakfast.
Stella advised ladies to pay attention to red flags and avoid rushing into marriage.
