‘We’re Going To War In 2027, PDP Must Go’ – Ajimobi Declares

Ambassador-designate and widow of former Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajimobi, Florence, has declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) must end the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ‘s reign in the forthcoming election.

Naijaonpoint reports that Ajimobi made the declaration in a viral video on social media while addressing journalists at a political gathering.

The prominent APC member said the 2027 general election will be fiercely contested in Oyo State, expressing confidence in her party’s readiness to challenge the PDP at both the state and federal levels.

Ajimobi further asserted that her party has strong backing at the federal level, including financial and institutional support, which she said would counter any advantage the opposition holds at the state level.

She said, “We’re going to war in 2027. It’s going to be a head-on war. PDP must go. Whatever they want to do, whatever tricks they want to try, all power belongs to God, but we are going to beg God and we are going to fight them.

“They have money in the state, we have money at the federal level. We have all the support we need. We are not going to be intimidated. So let them get ready for us. We are ready for them.”
