Kemi Filani reported last year that in an interview with her colleague, Kunle Afod, Bisola revealed she had been battling a brain tumor for three tears, and it got to a stage where she couldn’t see or recognize anyone. Bisola, however, said she had been using drugs and her condition had improved.

In another interview with Biola Bayo, she opened up on her co-parenting struggles with Kwam1. She said she initially didn’t tell him about her sickness, but he got to know and helped her for a while until he stopped responding to her calls. She cried out that she wanted him to take care of the responsibilities of their son as it wasn’t easy for her.

Following her cry out, many Nigerians had offered assistance to her, with some offering to sponsor her son through school. A volunteer had promised to send Bisola abroad for her brain surgery. To add to it, her son Michael’s school fees had been paid all through his secondary school, and he has also received a scholarship from his University from another person.
