“Why I use Juju to succeed” – Fuji maestro, Saheed Osupa sparks criticisms with bombshell revelation (Video)

Why I use Juju to perform Saheed Osupa spills Kemi Filani blog

Nigerian Fuji maestro Saheed Okunola, popularly known as Shared Osupa, has stirred the internet with his revelation about his love for voodoo.

While performing at the 52nd birthday celebration of veteran Yoruba actor Fatai Odua, aka Laide, on March 30th, he disclosed that he practices voodoo to succeed in life.

The popular Fuji star defended himself, saying everybody engaged in juju, adding that while some openly embrace it, others do it behind the scenes.

“The Fuji star continued that everybody engages in juju, adding that while some openly make their own, others do theirs behind the scenes.

“Everybody practises voodoo. While some hide behind the scenes to do theirs, I do mine in the open. All those talks of mine that I rely solely on the Bible and the Quran are pure lies,”

Saheed revealed that someone had advised him to deny using supernatural powers, but he shunned the suggestion.

“Somebody told me one time to grant an interview, denying that I’m a fetish person, but I told him that I am, and why should I deny it. I didn’t kill anyone with my juju or commit evil with it. I am only looking for how to progress. Nothing more.

“That’s why anytime I wake, I always pay obeisance to my Ifa. I don’t know the deity beyond it, because it is worth paying homage to.

If I don’t engage in voodoo, what else should I have employed? Is it Phensic or Panadol that will make me successful? It is not good to be poor and still not live a good life. Even if one is not enormously rich but should enjoy comfort,”

While advising his backup singers, he told them to resort to voodoo to help them remember. The Fuji singer surprisingly revealed the items expected of them to take while clarifying that the effort doesn’t make them fetish but only aids their well-being.

His statement drew widespread criticism, with many discrediting his assertion that everyone practices juju.

In 2023, Pasuma had reconciled with Saheed. The two ended their beef after Saheed mourned the death of Pasuma’s mother. Saheed shared a video on his Instagram page capturing him consoling Pasuma.

The two later linked up after KSA visited Pasuma at his Omole residence. He revealed that he spent a special moment with Pasuma, whom he described as his old friend, brother, and colleague. He went on to explain the purpose of his visit.

On Saheed Osupa’s birthday, Pasuma celebrated him, describing Pasuma as the King as he rained prayers on him.

Reciprocating the love, Saheed had penned a heartfelt note to Pasuma on his birthday today. He described him as his brother and colleague, stating that Pasuma isn’t just a Fuji artist but a significant one at that.
