In a statement released this morning, the spokesperson for the FCT Command, SP Josephine Adeh, explained that on October 28, a petition was filed against Sammy West and three others, citing allegations of criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, criminal intimidation, theft, and cyberbullying.
Upon receiving the petition, the Metro Area Command extended several invitations to Mr. Samuel Ojeogwu for questioning, which he did not respond to. He was arrested in Lagos under the authority of a valid arrest warrant issued by a competent court and subsequently transported to Abuja for further investigation.
Following the investigation, on November 6, 2025, he was charged in court with offenses related to criminal conspiracy, criminal trespass, assault, criminal intimidation, and theft. He has been remanded in custody pending the fulfilment of his bail conditions.
Adeh emphasised that the FCT Police Command remains committed to professional policing, due process, and upholding the rule of law.
