Senator Ireti Kingibe has responded after Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike reportedly stated that he would ensure she does not win re-election as a senator in 2027. Watch What Happened.
In an interview with Nigeria Info FM, Senator Kingibe described Wike’s behavior as displaying a “god complex.” She noted that his conduct during the recent FCT council elections reminded her of a scene from a documentary about Idi Amin, the former president of Uganda.
“The minister has a god complex, he has no control. This last election that just happened, he reminds me of a documentary I watched about Idi Amin,” Kingibe said.
She explained that the documentary depicted Idi Amin cheating in a swimming competition by starting early and celebrating arrogantly upon winning, drawing parallels to Wike’s actions in the recent elections.
