In a recent interview, Wiz Khalifa weighed in on Drake suing UMG and Spotify over his beef with Kendrick Lamar…Wiz says he’s not surprised by the move.
Shannon Sharpe asked Wiz how he felt about Drizzy taking legal action.
“‘Bout time,” he replied. “I’m tired of n*ggas acting like they’re cool with each other. Just speak how you really feel, bro.”
Wiz then added, “It sounds like a Drake move to me.”
The Pittsburgh rapper says that Drake is trying to get a win anywhere he can now.
“He’s a musician and businessman so if he’s not in the public eye winning, musically, he’s gonna get a win wherever he can. I mean, it’s a smart thing to do. They’re playing it exactly how they’re supposed to,” he went on.
Sharpe asked Wiz whether he thought the beef was staged, but Wiz said that Drake and Kendrick Lamar do not mess with each other at all and that their issues are for real.
