Residents of Akede Iyaloja Zone 3 in Osogbo, Osun State, were left in shock on Wednesday after a woman was apprehended for allegedly stealing and slaughtering a goat using a deceptive trick.
The suspect was reportedly caught with a freshly slaughtered goat, a knife, and some corn, which she allegedly used to lure the animal before killing it.
In a viral video shared online by Osogboupdates, the woman was seen with the slaughtered goat and the tools she allegedly used.
In the footage, she admitted to having engaged in goat theft for some time, adding that she frequently visited the area under the guise of working.
