Kanye West hopped online to throw shade at sportswear giant Nike right as his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, announced their new partnership.
Nike and Kim announced their new collection in collaboration with Kim’s iconic SKIMS brand.
But Ye, who previously partnered with Nike’s rivals, Adidas, tried to overshadow the moment.
“The new Nike design really moved us / really inspired us at YEEZY,” Ye wrote alongside a picture of one of Nike’s new sneakers. “We appreciate you guys work to the team behind these. Thank you for making something new and special, love Ye.”
Ye has been crashing out on social media since Elon Musk and Donald Trump took over the White House.
He has made several anti-semitic rants on social media, which lead to major backlash. “I’m a Nazi … I love Hitler,” he wrote.
Eventually, he deactivated his X account before reactivating it and continuing.
His Shopify website, which he used to sell his Swastika tees, was taken down.
“All merchants are responsible for following the rules of our platform. This merchant did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms,” Shopify said in a statement.
