Yinka Theisen threatens ex, Linc Edochie as she clarifies viral video of herself apologizing to him

I am still shock numb Yinka Theisen says as Linc Edochie vows never to get back with her Kemi Filani

Yinka Theisen has set the record straight on a viral video of herself apologising to her ex, Linc Edochie.

Kemi Filani reported that on Wednesday, a video circulated online of Yinka apologising to Linc for her outbursts and the secrets she had revealed about him. She admitted to saying things she shouldn’t have and expressed regret for her actions. Yinka also acknowledged that her behaviour was driven by hurt and emphasised that she never intended to cause him pain and that she misses him.

Addressing the video on her Instagram page, Yinka made it known that the video isn’t recent and was done before the public apology video. Yinka explained that she was apologising for the interview she had granted, during which she had shared what Linc had told her about his ex-wife and daughter.

Yinka said she was also apologising because his divorce documents, passport and letter to immigration leaked into the public space. She promised to grant an interview shortly with evidence.

“I know a video is circulating about me crying and apologising to Linc, it is not a recent video and was made before the video in which I publicly apologised. The video is meant to embarrass me & I have taken a screenshot of a chat at the same period. Since things are public, as I said, if Linc wants details of our relationship to be public, I am game. I am sick and tired of this bullying just because I loved a man. Please see the full text on Facebook”.

Yinka married Linc in June 2025 and immediately began publicly showing love to Yul Edochie and Judy Austin, a move that did not go down well with supporters of May Edochie.

In June, Linc had distanced himself from Yinka following her attacks on May Edochie. He made it known that he doesn’t endorse May’s attacks or posting her number online, which had triggered meaningless retaliation. Yul’s elder brother added that it was better to be alone and at peace than to be in a union filled with landmines.

Reacting to his public statement, Yinka expressed sadness at how a man she loves can throw her under the bus over an argument because of fear. Yinka added that since he cowardly embarrassed her on social media, she will respond in kind.

In her first interview, Yinka said she didn’t like how the family threw her under the bus and believes it’s because she is Yoruba. She noted how she was accused of leaking the phone numbers of family members, which she denied. She alleged that Rita Edochie is pretending to be on May Edochie’s side while instigating problems for May behind the scenes.
