Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke has made an observation on the motives behind how Igbo and Yoruba parents name their children.
In an Instagram post, he stated that Yorubas name their children based on their hopes for the child’s future, while Igbos name theirs based on pains, experiences and turmoil.
The actor added that he would love to have a Hausa friend to complete the observation.

In other news, the former Gulder Ultimate Search winner had slammed ladies, especially content creators, over their love for exposing their bodies. He noted how they hide their partners, yet show off their private parts on social media. The actor made it known that he is only advocating for a safer street and the raising of better men.
Gideon had commended men for their sanity, emphasizing that certain men are still commendable for their discipline despite this miniature. He explained that social media has had a negative impact on men as a result of the viral display of nudity on social media; hence, women should be grateful for their men holding phones and still stay sane.
