Former President Goodluck Jonathan has said the General Overseer of Living Faith Church, David Oyedepo, is a blessing to Christians in Nigeria.
Goodluck Jonathan said Oyedepo’s transformational teachings of the word of faith and works of charity over the years have impacted lives positively across the world.
The Former President stated this in his birthday message to the leader of Winners Chapel International who celebrates his 70 birthday on Friday.
Jonathan added that Oyedepo‘s love for quality education and shaping the future of youths led to the establishment of world-class institutions across the country.
He prayed for God’s blessing in his life and health and upon his family.
“I am excited to join your family and the Living Faith Church, our Winners Chapel International, the Christian community in Nigeria and many others around the world to celebrate you on your 70th birthday.
“You are a blessing to the body of Christ particularly in Nigeria.
“As a Christian leader, your transformational teachings of the word of faith and works of charity over the years, have positively impacted the lives and destinies of many of your parishioners and others across the world.
‘You have shaped the future of many young ones in our country through your passion for education by investing in quality and knowledge-based educational projects such as the Kingdom Heritage Schools, Faith Academy, the Covenant and Landmark Universities.
“Let me also use this unique opportunity to appreciate you for all the prayers and encouragement extended to me while serving this country as President.
“As you celebrate, let me commend you for your life of integrity, honesty, faith and sound Christian doctrines.
“You have been a true disciple of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, serving as a light to the world, a foremost voice of truth, and an advocate of peace and good governance.
“I am pleased that you are celebrating your platinum jubilee this year in good health and boundless testimonies of God’s grace and blessing to you and many around you.
