Nollywood actress Adunni Ade is setting the record straight on her age.
The movie star, via her Instagram page, had shared a screenshot of the DM she received from a Cinematographer hoping to cover her 50th birthday event next year for free.
“Hello, mama.
Good afternoon
My name is Virtue, I’m a Cinematographer, my brand handle is @virtueshotit.
I would love to cover your 50th birthday event next year for free.
Just lemme know when you’re prepping and the venue when you’re ready”.
Responding to him, Adunni noted how Nigerians are obsessed with age as she made it known that she isn’t even 48 yet.

Her sister, Sweery Eke, had also defended her by sharing a screenshot of her birth certificate, and slamming her sister’s troll.
In an Instagram post, Monalisa Chinda had thrown a subtle shade at those who tend to falsify their age. She had proudly declared that she was proud of her age even as she accepts the fact that she was getting older.
