Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, has showered love on her husband cum legendary Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Baba.
Naijaonpoint reports that 2Baba turned 50 years on September 18, 2025.
In a post on her Instagram page, Natasha jokingly referenced how 2Baba is 20 years older than her and still looks younger than her.
The lawmaker also recalled the memories they have had this year, and prayed that their union will remain for the rest of their lives.
She wrote, “Happy birthday to the love oof my life. You are 50!!!! Oh wow!!!! You spaced me with 20 years and you look younger than I do. How ironic. Innocent Ujah Idibia my husband, words cannot express the joy you have brought into my life. My joy is complete with you in it. This year was the best year of my life… waking up to you every monring is one of the greatest gifts ever and I thank God for that. Baby I want to spend each day loving you and caring for you for the rest of my life.”
Meanwhile, 2Baba’s management has dismissed claims that his relationship and marriage controversies on social media are affecting his legacy.
2Baba has remained a topic of discussion online following his divorce from his wife, Annie Idibia and marriage to Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawuru.
However, the Head of Legal and Communication at ‘A Guy Entertainment’, Chioma Ebubedike-Igbokwe, stressed that such distractions cannot diminish 2Baba’s legacy.
2Baba’s management stated that afrobeats’ current global dominance rests on the foundation built by pioneers like Idiba.
Ebubedike-Igbokwe emphasised that the management is actively creating platforms where 2Baba’s voice remains indispensable rather than competing with the new wave of artistes.
